Q?How will I get to know the people I am traveling with?
A.

We have pre-trip meetings where you have the opportunity to get to know your fellow travelers, learn about the sites you will be seeing, discuss trip details, and ask any questions you may have.

Q?Is there an educational component to the trips?
A.

Yes. If the group chooses, we offer pre-trip classes where participants learn about the sites they will see.  Contact Dr. Z if interested.

Q?What documents do I need to travel with Dr. Z?
A.

For any international trip you will need a valid passport, but some countries may require additional documentation. You will be informed of the necessary documents before you register for your trip.

Q?Who can travel with Dr. Z Travel?
A.

Everyone is welcome.  We have done college-study trips, adult group vacations, and parish pilgrimages.

Q?What is the age of travelers?
A.

Our travelers have a wide range of ages. The college-study trips are primarily made up of traditional college-age students and young adults in their 20s and 30s. Our parish-based trips typically attract people from their 40s to 70s.

Q?Are minors welcome?
A.

Absolutely. Minors aged 12-17 are more than welcome as long as they are accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

Q?How big are the groups?
A.

Our travel groups usually consist of 20-25 people.

Q?In what kind of hotels do you stay?
A.

We stay in 3-star hotels within city limits.

Q?Are the trips bus tours?
A.

No. Because Dr. Z Travel seeks to immerse participants in the local culture as much as possible, we walk a lot and use public transportation. Public transportation includes subway, city or egional busses, trams, and trains.

Q?How much free time do I have on a trip?
A.

Dr. Z Travel offers flexibility. Travelers are free to stay with the group and see the sites listed on the itinerary, or they can go off on their own to explore the sites they want to see. In addition, at least one free day is built into every trip itinerary to allow travelers an opportunity to personalize their travel experience.

Q?Will someone help me plan a day or overnight trip during my free time?
A.

Absolutely. One of the advantages of traveling with Dr. Z is that he is more than happy to help you plan excursions that are not part of the trip itinerary.
